The Jamón Ibérico is a delicate product, to preserve it in good condition you should take some precautions:

  1. Store in the refrigerator ham pieces that you are not going to consume immediately.
  2. Before slicing the ham it is advisable to get it from the refrigerator at least one hour before to allow time to adopt room temperature
  3. Once the ham has been cut, it is advisable to finish it all, avoid to cut more than needed.
  4. At the end of a cutting session, return the remaining product to the packaging in which it came vacuum packaged. Instead, you can wrap remaining ham with a waxed paper or transparent film.

The differences of each product's classification are the following:
