HUELVA (JABUGO)

The designation of origin Huelva compraises producers from the provinces of Huelva, Cáceres, Cádiz, Málaga, Badajoz and Seville. These are hams from Iberian pigs raised in oak and cork oaks and recognized for their characteristic flavor. In this D. Or joins the great tradition of decades of production with the climatology of the mountains of the area, suitable for breeding and elaboration of dry ham. It integrates well known municipalities in the sector, such as Jabugo. In total there are 31 production areas. Among those: Alajar, Almonaster la Real, Aracena, Aroche, Arroyomolinos de León, Cala, Campofrio, Cañaveral de León, Castaño del Robledo, Corteconcepción, Cortegana y Cortelazor. Un segundo grupo lo formarían Cumbres de En medio, Cumbres de San Bartolomém, Cumbres Mayores, Encinasola, Fuenteheridos, Galaroza y La Granada de Río Tinto. Por último encontramos Higuera de la Sierra, Hinojales, Jabugo, Linares de la Sierra, Los Marines, La Nava, Puerto Moral Rosal de la Frontera, Santa Ana la Real, Santa Olalla del Cala, Valdelarco y Zufre.
